South Texas rockers The Common Ground will perform at Rosehill Beer Garden on September 30th at 7pm. Based in Houston, the band released “Sounds Like a Good Time!” Last year he recorded 10 songs of what they called “Southern Rock Country Blues”. Felix Luna:
Local classic rock and pop cover artist Felix Luna will perform at City Place on September 30th from 6-9pm.
Luna, an accomplished Latin jazz bassist who plays locally in several bands, performs solo at outdoor casual music nights. Mixology workshop:
The event venue at Magnolia Meadows will host the Oktoberfest mixology workshop on September 30th from 7pm to 9pm. Tickets are $75. The event includes signature cocktails, German beer flights, and authentic German cuisine. The Magnolia wedding venue will have new owners in late 2021.

Texas-based Bob Seger tribute band The Seger System will perform on October 1st at 8pm. Tickets start at $35. Pumpkinfest:
The local Cornelius Nursery is offering fall-themed family fun starting at 10am on October 1st. With over 100,000 pumpkins, gourds, squashes, moms and more for sale, kids can decorate their pumpkins at 10am during the demonstration. The event also includes a chalk garden, gift card giveaways and more.

Cy-Fair flavors:
Over 40 local Cy-Fair and Houston restaurants will be participating in A Taste of Cy-Fair on October 1st from 5-8pm at the Bridgeland Village Center. Tickets start at $15.
The event features free samples, live music, and local craft wines and beers. Cy-Ranch High School has free parking and guests are encouraged to bring their own chairs and blankets.

5th dimension:
Classic R&B group 5th Dimension will perform at The Centrum on October 8th at 8pm. Tickets start at $45.

Local friends and neighbors at the Boggs Hufsmith Cemetery Association will raise funds to build a fence around the historic cemetery on October 8 from 11am to 4pm.

John Fulbright:
Oklahoma-based singer-songwriter John Fulbright will be performing a dinner show at Dosey Doe The Big Barn on October 9th at 7:30pm. Tickets start at $68 and include his three-course meal served at 5:30 p.m. This is his first album in eight years, following the critically acclaimed “Songs” and “From the Ground Up”, which earned him a Grammy Award for his album Americana a decade earlier.
